The Bell & Ross BR 126 Sport Heritage GMT & Flyback comes in a polished 43mm x 15mm round stainless steel case with straight lugs. It’s got the telltale highly polished look that distinguishes it from the rest in its class. The dial is black with golden appliqué index and numerals. This adds the resemblance of patina, and coupled with a cambered sapphire crystal, the BR 126 is aimed at those who enjoy modern watches with some golden-age charm. Two sub dials – a running seconds counter at 3 and a 24 hour zone at 9 – have noticeable circular graining. The minute counter is a central airplane shaped hand. The pusher at 10 o’clock is for setting the 24-hour time. Each push advances the subdial hand by one hour. There’s a date between 4 and 5, which probably works against the vintage look, but is useful to many modern flyers. And, of course, a black tachymeter bezel is the hallmark of sporty looks.
