The Hermès Cape Cod watch ranks among the most iconic women´s wristwatches. Designed in 1991 by Henri d’Origny who is also responsible for many more iconic Hermès designs.I have uploaded 38 pictures, you will be amazed …
That`s not a shame! To make it clear: all shown watches are powered by a quartz calibre. Also the legendary Patek Philippe Twenty Four is “only” powered by a quartz calibre. All cases are made out of stainless steel.
Depending on size, dial and amount of diamonds used to decorate the time-piece all watches shown here sell in-between 2250 and 9000 Euro including 20 % VAT here in Austria.
Several new models in 2016 are taking the Hermès Cape Cod further than ever before. A new gem-setting technique and a new mother-of-pearl dial.
New interchangeable single and double wrap-around straps, entirely hand-crafted in vivid colours: electric blue, iris, capucine, Veronese green, ultraviolet, tomato red. A new white lacquered dial teamed with straps distinguished by contrasting burnishing: red for a white calfskin version and white for a red goatskin interpretation.
And last but not least, fine stone dials: onyx, used in equal measure by the Art Deco and Bauhaus art movements; and lapis lazuli which is a perfect match for the Cape Cod, the joyful talisman that accompanies all life’s many fancies and adventures.
