To mark the end of « Rendez-vous à Roland-Garros », of which Longines is the Title Partner, the French Federation of Tennis and the Swiss watch brand officially presented, on the Philippe Chatrier court, a wild-card entry to the winners of the competition, Anri Nagata (JPN) and Abhimanyu Vannemreddy (IND). In the finals, played on Court No.6, Anri and Abhimanyu respectively defeated Cori Gauff (USA) 6/4 6/4 and Hikaru Shiraishi3 (JPN) 6/1 4/6 6/1. The talented players also received a Conquest Roland Garros timepiece, created by the Swiss watch brand as a tribute to the prestigious Parisian tournament.

Six boys and six girls aged under 18 took part in the final stage of this operation, which was held at the C.A. Montrouge courts from May 26 to 27. These juniors hailed from six different countries: China, India, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and the United States. They qualified at clay-court tournaments in their home countries earlier this year: in Yokohama, Japan (Yokohama Country and Athletic Club), from 28 February to 3 March; Florianopolis, Brazil (Lagoa Iate Club) from 9 to 12 March; Nanjing, China (China Tennis Academy), from 14 to 17 March; Delhi, India (Delhi Lawn Tennis Association), from 17 to 19 April; Miami, United States (Boca West Country Club), from 19 to 22 April; and Seoul, South Korea (Seoul Ansung Tennis Club), from 27 April to 1 May. In all, 667 players participated in these qualifying stages.

The Swiss watchmaker supports and organizes competitions that are intended to promote sporting activities among young people, along with the values of fair play, respect, integrity and enjoyment, which Longines holds dear. In connection with Roland-Garros, at which Longines has been Official Partner and Timekeeper since 2007, the watchmaker is organizing this week the eighth edition of the Longines Future Tennis Aces tournament, taking place on a court installed on the Parvis de la Défense.
