London Craft Week showcases the very best international and British creativity and craftsmanship through a ‘beyond luxury’ journey-of-discovery. London Craft Week is spread across London’s iconic buildings, influential institutions and off-the-beaten track side streets, many of which are not normally open to the public. The curated programme brings together over 200 events from all corners of the globe fusing making, design, fashion, art, luxury and culture.
International content includes wood carvers from Japan, artisans from Korea, wood block printers from China, designer-makers from Hong Kong, ceramists from Taiwan, umbrella and cufflink makers from France, porcelain painters from Germany, glass artists from Sweden, furniture makers from Denmark and a guitar maker from Spain.
“The astonishing growth of London Craft Week brings yet more to the programme this year, opening more doors than ever to the public”, says Julien Marchenoir, Vacheron Constantin Heritage & Strategy Director. “We are proud to support London Craft Week; a platform for the raw talent that continues to surprise, bring delight and inspire new audiences”.
During London Craft Week (3-7 May 2017), Vacheron Constantin’s London boutique will have live demonstrations of watchmaking and hand-engraving.
