Breguet released its new model at BaselWorld 2016-Breguet Classique Phase de Lune.

Breguet is no stranger to watches which appeal to the ladies. One of the first wrist watch ever made was by Breguet and was a commission for Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister: Caroline, the Queen of Naples. This was the inspiration of a very successful series by Breguet, known as the Reine de Naples line.

This new release extends Breguet’s supremacy over the ladies segment. The Classique Phase de Lune Dame 9088 is a beautiful interpretation of the play between the exquisite beauty of a grand feu enamel dial, the glitter of diamonds, the exquisite moon phase display in the classical fluted case that is powered by a house manufactured B537L self-winding mechanical movement.

The enamel dial is particularly beautiful, with a pure white, pearlescent aesthetic is balanced with the black arabic numerals, and a beautifully aperture cut in the enamel to view the animated moon.

The B735L features an advanced silicon escapement and spiral, and is decorated with the traditional finissage of haute horlogerie. Côtes de Genève on the bridges with a gold oscillating weight is adorned with ‘barley grain’ engine-turning.
