The Breguet Classique Quantième Perpétuel en Ligne 7715 presented for the biennial charity auction Only Watch complements the customary indications of hours, minutes and seconds with a perpetual calendar complication on which the displays of the days, months, dates and years has been arranged in an inline configuration for ease of reading.
The uncluttered dial allows the blued-steel Breguet hands to pursue their course around the chapter ring with its Roman numerals, while the date at 6 o’clock is also clearly readable. The remaining perpetual calendar indications are aligned above the date on the 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock axis. This original design results in an apparently simple timepiece distinguished by a sense of visual balance and purity.

The engine-turned silvered gold dial highlights Beguet’s traditional “Clous de Paris” hobnailing. The counters, surrounded by an engine-turned border pattern, feature a circular satin-brushed finish. The sapphire crystal fitted on the back of the watch reveals the technical sophistication of this Only Watch unique piece, driven by Calibre 502QPLT. The hand-engraved self-winding movement and its offset oscillating weight show the exceptional degree of expertise and skill cultivated by the artisans of the House of Breguet.
