We have mentioned this earlier, but when the Timex watch surfaced in 1950 (in the then-monikered U.S. Time Company), jewelers wouldn’t carry the timepiece due to its low 50 percent markup. Other brands apparently supplied 100 percent.
So besides durability, Timex has ever been regarding affordability. Add in a new sale that locates over 100 fashions at around half-off, and you have yourself a new timepiece for the season. Or two, or three (hey, some of them are under $50!) .
