Victorinox debuted the INOX Professional Diver tool watch at Baselworld. This watch is heads to the ocean’s depths. it case with a solid 45mm stainless steel case complete with thick lugs and a beveled stainless steel unidirectional bezel with markers too offset the hefty steel mass.
Going inside the watch will reveal a Swiss Ronda 715 quartz movement which is much tougher and and more precise than a mechanical movement. A date window sits on the dial at the 4 o’clock mark whilst the hour and minute hands are coated in luminova for visibility under the sea. The new model also brings some much welcomed improvements including a 200 metre Professional Diver rating and an antimagnetic rating stamped on the dial.
Form serves function in this authentic professional measurement instrument. A certified diving watch in accordance with the rigorous NIHS 92-11 Swiss watch industry norms, it goes beyond the criteria imposed by these standards. In all, it has been subjected to 130 tests specifically developed to ensure its sturdiness and its functionality.
